All of my floors are laminate hardwood flooring, in a light oak. I much prefer the laminate hardwood flooring over carpet. But - I am FRUSTRATED!!
Although vacuuming the floors is obviously not a problem, I still cannot find any way to mop my floors that does not leave streaks when the floor dries.
I have tried mopping, with a small amount of white vinegar in the water, and with a sponge mop. The results - STREAKS
I have tried the Swiffer Wet Jet with the solution designated for wood floors. The results - STREAKS!
I have a Red Devil steam mop. I have tried it with plain water and with a very small amount of vinegar. The result in both cases - STREAKS!!
Has anyone found a way to clean laminate hardwood floors without streaks? If so, please let me know. I look forward to finding someone who has found a way to do this.
FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!!!
Ask Cindy, she has it all over her house. I thought she used a steam mop. Erin and Tiffany both have laminate floors.
ReplyDeleteI have tried the steam mop - both with regular water and water with a little vinegar. Results were the same - STREAKS!
