So - Netflix is changing their business plan. At one time, I had the DVD by mail plan. I had cancelled that some time back as I typically do not take time to watch movies. My son had tried the Netflix and found it handy for finding movies for the kids to watch. I had considered subscribing to Netflix again, thinking that I might like the streaming option. I was just about to do that, when I heard about the realignment that Netflix is making.
Now, you can either subscribe to DVD by mail - or streaming - or both. However, do get both, you will have two accounts to deal with and will have to pay for each. Also, the streaming selection is much smaller than the DVD by mail selection.
Needless to say, I have decided against subscribing again. I don't see it as being worth hassling with two accounts and paying for each service separately.
Do you have Netflix??????? And, if you do, are you keeping Netflix?????
Right now we have both NetFlix accounts but we aren't sure what we'll do. Love the old movies to stream but can't get some of the movies we like that way. No choice but to take the movies by mail for some. Hoping they get more on streaming.
ReplyDeleteIt asppears that they have re-thought their game plan here. But, I checked online and you are right, the selection for streaming in very limited. I still think I will not opt to do this. Maybe I will check out Blockbuster to see what kind of deal they have instead.
