For all those out there in the traffic this morning trying to make your way to work:
Why do so many drivers seem to think that it is MY responsibility to get you onto the interstate safely? If I can get over, I will. Otherwise, WAIT! I get so aggravated with the drivers who seem determined to "plow" onto the interstate - regardless of oncoming traffic. Others "creep" onto the interstate - way below road speeds - even though the "get on " aprons are typically long enough to allow you to reach road speeds.
I have driven in major cities in all but 4 states in this country. I have to say that I have my opinion as to the "worst" and the "best" in rush hour traffic. Worst: Chicago, IL Best: Louisville, KY
I have been through Louisville, Ky many times in rush hour traffic and the traffic flows great. Traffic merging onto the interstate there makes it look like a fine art.
Why can we not seem to have this in Birmingham? Is this really a lost art here?
