I had to let everyone know about my experience with Dirt Devil. Last Christmas, my son gave me a Dirt Devil steam mop for Christmas. I used the steam mop for several months, and then it decided to quit steaming. I did nothing about it for awhile, but then in talking to a friend of mine, I learned that she had a problem with hers also. She told me that she emailed the company, they sent some instructions, and then sent her a new steam mop.
So, I emailed Dirt Devil and told them about the steam mop problem. They told me to cut the cord off, take the label off the back, attach the label to a piece of paper with a description of the problem as well as my name and address. Ok - so this is one of those things that was put on my "low priority" list and I never made myself get around to until after Thanksgiving. I followed their directions, taking the label off and sticking it on a piece of paper, etc.. I went to the post office and mailed in back to them in one of the small "flat rate" boxes, so that was relatively inexpensive.
I went out for awhile today and, when I returned home, there was my new Dirt Devil Steam Mop - on the front porch. I am impressed!!!
Has anyone else had any experience dealing with Dirt Devil??
